I submitted my first true deviation today. The rest were pictures I had taken long before joining DA. This sketch I just uploaded is the first piece of artwork I've ever published, so I hope people will be gentle, lol.

In other news, my real world life is going fine. Things are putting themselves into place and I couldn't be happier.

I just can't think of anything for the story I want to write, so I'm putting it on the back burner. For now I have to work on getting back to college and good grades.

I saw the Dark Knight...finally! It was amazing, to say the least. Heath Ledger never ceased to creep me out during the course of his performance as the Joker. So many things that character did were unexpected (Watch me make this pencil disappear...!). Definitely a must see movie.

God did it again. He wrecked all my conceptions of what a normal Christian life should be and set me on track to follow Him with what a friend of mine dubbed "stupid faith". I might write some commentaries or thought blurbs about scripture as I begin to unravel more of what God is to me and my life.

So, I'm thinking about writing a new story, making it as original as I can. New characters, new universe with it's own history, the works. Only problem is, I can't decide on a name for my main character! He's a blacksmith who gets exiled from a war-torn culture, but I can't think of a fitting name...

Gah, it frustrates me to no end! If any of you have any ideas, by all means, I'm open to them. When I'm done with the first story, I'll post it up here.
